Drawing Register

 

Enter a list of the drawings which will be created for the Project.

What's new

  1. Project Drawing Register Tab - new tab in the Project which the default Documents tab to be opened within the Project.
  2. Copy Drawings - add drawings into the Project Drawing Register by copying the data from sub project templates, budget templates, drawing templates, existing sub project drawing registers, or by copying the details from existing files in the project directory.
  3. Default Data - assign the values to show in the drop down lists in the drawing register for document type, file type, size, scale, and drawing number prefixes.
  4. System Settings - determine which fields are mandatory in the register, and how many digits should be in the drawing number.
  5. Audit - all changes to the drawing register rows are tracked in the Project Audit.

 

Why use it plan how many drawings or documents are required to be created for each Sub Project. Link the drawing register rows to actual files in the Synergy Project Folder, which can added to Transmittal Summary Documents and sent to the Project Contacts.

Transmittals

 

Create Transmittal Summary Documents using the Project Drawing Register details

What's new

  1. Project Transmittals Tab - create a new Transmittal by manually selecting which drawings will be sent, or copying an existing Transmittal to quickly create the new record. Open the Transmittal ZIP file, and the MS Word® Transmittal Summary document.
  2. Transmittal Summary Tab - view all the Transmittals sent for the Project in an MS Excel® style summary view. Export the summary to MS Excel® to create a Transmittal Summary document which includes all the transmittal history.
  3. Default Data - setup what will be shown in the creating transmittals drop down list for Sending Method and Reason for Sending fields.
  4. System Settings - setup the Transmittal numbering sequence, choose if your company will enable the Transmittal Approvals workflow and enable the Transmittal Alerts.
  5. Document Templates - create the MS Word® document template to create the Transmittal Summary Document.
  6. Project Reporting - use the reports to check what Transmittals or Drawings have been sent out for all the Synergy projects.
  7. Search - use the My Synergy search to look-up for a Drawing Number or Transmittal Number.
  8. Alerts - view the Transmittal alerts in the My Synergy dashboard plugin, to track when transmittals have been submitted, declined, or approved but not sent to the project contacts.
  9. Audit - all changes to a transmittal are tracked in the Project Audit.

Xero Connect

 

Sync the billing data to Xero using Synergy Connect

What's new

  1. Xero Connect Wizard - define the settings for how invoices, credit notes, payments and expenses are sent to Xero. Define if payments entered in Xero will be imported to Synergy.
  2. Preview the Sync - review what data will be exported/imported to Xero by Connect.
  3. Reporting - view the data sent in each sync, and what settings were used in the Wizard.

 

Why use it Send Synergy invoices, credit notes, payments, and expense data to Xero using Connect matching records are created in Xero automatically.

Composite Rates has been renamed to Budget Templates

What's new

  1. Budget Template Types - Composite Rate Groups has been renamed to Budget Template Types.
  2. Budget Templates - Composite Rates has been renamed to Budget Templates; a new Drawings tab has been added to allow the entry of the typical drawing register entries required for this type of budget.
  3. Add Budget Templates - Budget Templates can be added to the following Project areas: Budget Tab, Drawing Register Tab, Work Breakdown Structure Tab.

  1. Windows 8 Professional - use the latest version of Windows on the desktop or laptop PC's.
  2. Microsoft Office 2013 - use Office 2013 with the Outlook Add-in, Word document templates, Excel exports.
  3. Windows Server 2012 - use this on your Synergy server with any of the following editions: Foundation, Essentials, Standard, and Datacenter.
  4. Microsoft SQL Express 2012 - use the latest version of SQL Express on your Synergy server.

Grouping in Document Templates

 

Add grouping into any reporting data tables

What's new

  1. Grouping in data tables - add up to two levels of grouping within the reporting data tables in the Document Templates > Edit Bookmarks Wizard > Data Table configuration.
  2. Custom data tables - If the table you are using is from an old version of Synergy this may not be available. Contact the Support Team and discuss having them create a new data table for your database, to have the grouping shown on your MS Word® document templates. Charges apply

  3. Sub Project Templates - add a colour to each Sub Project Template to automatically colour the sub project and linked tasks.

 

Why use it Quickly create the Project Budget by copying from Budget Templates; check the resource availability in the new view of the capacity report.
