Want to restrict staff from entering time after a set date? What is it? You can now pop into System Settings and set a lock date which will prevent all users from entering or editing timesheets or expenses on and before the date nominated.
Why use it? Alot of clients like to use the Approvals to prevent timesheets or expenses being edited, particularly if overtime has been paid. However Approvals adds a whole level of complexity to a fairly simple requirement - our clients really just want to get all the transactions in and then put on a lock date to prevent edits and new entries. |
|
Define which Access Levels can use each Document TemplateWhat is it? The Document Templates now allow you to list which access levels can use each Document Template.
Why use it? Greater security of Document Templates available as it is now controlled by your Synergy access level. |
|
Save and file type options in the Document Wizard and Document TemplatesWhat is it? The Document creation wizard now allows you to select if the created document is saved to the Document Library in the Controlled/Uncontrolled area or Opened for Preview, and if the document is created in PDF or Word format. These Save and File Type Options automatically populate from the new Document Template default settings.
Why use it? Save and File Type Document Template defaults mean less mouse clicks for the users, as your most common settings are shown automatically. Easier access within the Document Wizard to create PDF OR MS Word® files, and adding newly created Documents to the Document Library. |
|
Set PDF as the default report layoutWhat is it? You can now publish a report in PDF format before the preview window is open.
Why use it? This is a requirement for Web Timesheet users to enable printing of timesheets. It's also handy for any reports that you would want to save automatically as a PDF. |
