Synergy 4.7.1 Minor release

Reports

Reports Manager > Sub Project > Budget Analysis. New Rate filters are available. Rate Description and Rate Type. Great to exclude Expenses from the report and look at staff timesheets only.   

Reports. Any report exported to excel that includes an attributes column will no longer display date 1 Jan 0001 in attribute blank fields. 

 

3rd party integration

Project > Contacts. Sync contact to Outlook now available. locate Sync contacts to outlook to find out more.  

Projects > Export to MS Excel®. The numeric fields are now exported to MS Excel® in Currency and Number Cell formats.

Contact > Personnel > Action. Sync to Outlook now available. locate Sync contacts to outlook to find out more.  

Contact > Sync to Outlook. Error no longer occurs when exporting a contact to Outlook. 

Contact > Sync to Outlook. Outlook sync is now supported for when contact names which contain special characters.

Connect > MYOB. The Invoice settings are now retained when upgrading to 4.7 

Connect > MYOB. When Importing payments from MYOB the correct date of payment is now added to the payment in Synergy

Connect > QuickBooks (Reckon Accounts Premier). If a payment is entered in QuickBooks (Reckon Accounts Premier) against an Invoice that doesn't exist in Synergy an error will now appear alerting you of this issue. 

MS Outlook® > File email in Synergy. HTML Font and Style Sheets are no longer scanned by the SynergyMS Outlook® add-in when saving an email to the Document directory. This ensures that the Email is linked to the Project number.

MS Outlook® > File email in Synergy. When saving a email to Synergy document folders, a temporary email copy is created and placed in Outlook Deleted Items.

MS Outlook® > File email in Synergy. Importing documents with long path names into the controlled document area is now supported.

MS Outlook® > File email in Synergy. The email folder now defaults when filing an email via the plug-in on the bottom of the single email view into the Document directory.

MS Outlook® > File email in Synergy. Email filing to the document folder now supports project reference names ending with extra spaces characters entered.

 

Invoicing

Project > Invoices. You can now open multiple Invoices in the one window. Double click an invoice, then repeat for another one.  

Projects > Invoices > Pre-Billing. Project Managers can now perform pre-billing on unlocked invoices. A new optional column has been added to Invoice Maintenance to show which invoices are unlocked.

Project > Invoices. Invoice totals now line up on this grid. 

Project > Invoices. The residual value of the Capped Fee is now available to be shown on an Invoice Template.

 

Projects

Project > Sub Project > Note. The Note field on a sub project can now contain 32,000 characters which can then appear on Document Templates including the Fee Proposal and Invoice. However only the first 500 can appear on a report.  

Project > Documents. The directories displayed for the project folders are listed in alpha/numeric order.

Project > Forecast. The forecast value no longer displays a negative residual amount, when the cancelled invoice date is different to the original invoiced month.

Project > Time and Expenses. Timesheet entries for Non Billing Fee Type Sub Projects now allow the amendments within the hours and notes fields. This is available within Daily and Weekly Timesheet views.

 

Contract Administration

Contract > Progress Claims. 1 cent rounding no longer occurs on the Amount column.
