Contract Document Management

Various documents are created throughout Contract Administration and are created wherever you see this icon . Documents can be generated from within the tab you are working or by entering the documents menu. 

Documents can also be attached to many areas of Contract Administration, look out for this icon .

Tips:

Create a Document in MS Word®

  1. Click .
  2. Select the document template from the available list.
  3. Save.
  4. Make any adjustments in MS Word®.
  5. Save document to contract directory.

Document Attachments

Attaching a saved document

  1. Select the record you want to attach the document to.
  2. Click .
  3. Browse to the saved document.
  4. Save.

Removing saved documents

  1. Select the record you want to remove the attachment from.
  2. Click .

Opening a saved attachment

  1. Select the record with the attachment you want to open
  2. Click

  1. Select the document required.
  2. Select the template to use.
  3. Save.
  4. Make any adjustments in MS Word®.
  5. Save documents to the contract directory.

Contract Documents Tab NEW 4.8.7

Use the Contracts Documents tab to view the Controlled and Uncontrolled documents that have been saved into the Synergy Contract Administration folder. The documents tab is available to all clients for use with Uncontrolled documents. Synergy enterprise clients that have Document Management enabled on their Synergy license can also use the Controlled documents actions shown with a * below. Contact Synergy Support to find out how to get controlled documents enabled in your Synergy database..

Store contract administration synergy documents, emails related to the contract, or other documentation sent to the client (like letters and faxes etc) in the Contracts folder. This allows you to keep all your Contract Administration documentation in a central location, making the files searchable within Synergy. Use the Controlled documents feature to enable version tracking for your documents, which includes the ability to be able to roll back to a previous version of the document.
