Synergy will automatically create a contract directory on the server, with sub folders in which documents such as drawings, letters and emails can be saved.

Tips:
Because you will be creating projects and contract within Synergy, you can decide whether or not the contract should point directly to the contract directory or the project directory. Select the option you require. All correspondence will attempt an autosave to the default directory as created by Synergy.
Tip: Learn how to create the sub folder template tree structure or how to Use the Contract directory.
This will allow managers to set the contract within the Synergy database to point to a contract directory NOT located within the Contract Directory on the file server.
Complete the following steps
All other contracts though will remain being directed to the default Synergy path of //Server01/Synergy.
Example
A new contract is created in Synergy. As it is saved a contract directory is created in the default directory path //Server01/Synergy/Contracts/08021 - Lend Lease Polaris Apartments
However, we've decided that all contracts for Lend Lease are stored within a directory for the client, so their contracts are easier to find.
