Adjustments of Time are used to adjust the current practical completion date set for the contract. Each new adjustment of time which is created adjusts the total number of days approved to the existing practical completion date. A calendar is specified for each adjustment of time request which is used to calculate the new practical completion date.

An adjustment of time request can be requested for part of a day using the hours adjustment option. When this AOT is approved the 'New practical completion date' field will automatically advance forward by a full day. As the adjustment is only for part of a day, this may not be the result you intended.
Instead you can roll over the hours to the next AOT request. This will stop the system advancing the practical completion date a full day, if only a part day has been claimed. Use the 'remaining hours' on the next AOT approval, if the claim has then reach a full working days number of hours.
The AOT request is for '4 hours', and the current completion date is the 08/02/2018. When approving the request the new completion date will advance to 09/02/2018 by default.
