Learn how to configure the Contract Admin tab within System Settings to determine which settings activated within the Contract admin module.
Tip: Can't see Contract admin - this is an additional module - contact your sales rep.
Select a tax rule that will be set as default all new Contracts. Refer to the Taxation Data topic for more information.
Set whether Adjustments of time can be calculated using Years and/or Months and/or Hours.
Restrict templates according to the contract type
There is the ability to create multiple Contract types i.e. Simple works, Major works etc. Then you are able to assign particular templates to this type, so only those documents associated with it are available to use. This is a great feature, however you may end up with alot of templates fairly similar.
Different templates are used as they quote particular clauses for that contract type. If you don't have this requirement, then one template for all contract types should suffice.
Allow Manual Adjustments
Contract Sum Adjustments allow you to receive quotes for variations and then approve one and issue a CSA. A manual adjustment can also be made that allows the user to enter a dollar figure. This is a quick way of adding an adjustment.
