Reports Dashboard

Open the App area in Synergy Cloud Services > select the menu button in the top toolbar > select the 'Reports' option.

What is the reports dashboard?

A central location that displays all the reporting options available in Synergy Cloud Services. The reporting options available will depend on your Synergy access level in the desktop application. Try running the timesheet reporting options, to check if you have entered all the required timesheets or expenses for a date range.

Two Synergy reporting options for third party BI Tools are available, which let you extract your Synergy data to be shown in reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau.

ClosedTimesheet reports

Use the reporting options below to get a quick snapshot of your entered timesheet or expense details.

  1. Timesheet dashboard - a dashboard style report that lets you quickly see which projects you have been working on this month or this year. Read more.
  2. Timesheet report - print your entered timesheets or expenses, or save the results as a PDF file. Read more.
  3. Direct reports - a manager reporting view that allows the manager to check if the staff that report to them have entered their timesheets. This weekly view shows the number of hours per day each team member has entered, and expands to show the entered timesheet details. Read more.
ClosedTimesheet leaderboard

Use the timesheet leaderboard to see how you rank against the other staff in your company for entering your timesheets on-time. Use the buttons in the top right corner to show the leaders for the last 30 days. Read more.

ClosedSynergy data (Excel) export for Microsoft Power BI

The Synergy Data Export reports option can be used to create a multi tabbed Excel file of your companies Synergy data. The created Excel file can be imported into the sample Power BI file to get started with viewing your companies reporting information in these sample Power BI reports and dashboards. ClosedSynergy OData connection

Interface for importing Synergy data into BI reporting tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and more. The OData interface lets you export many tables of Synergy data, and quickly refresh the data from your Synergy Cloud Services database.
