Time and Expense reports let you print your entered transactions and create a PDF file. There is a separate standard report available for timesheets and expenses. The same report is shown to all staff in the cloud app, and can be printed for expense claims to attached your receipts to when sending to your finance/accounts department for reimbursement.
On-screen reports are available for
Check if you have entered all your timesheets or expenses, and run reports to save your entered timesheets or expenses as a PDF file.
Print or save your entered timesheets as a PDF file. Run the timesheets report by:
Tip: The week reporting view options print a Monday to Sunday week.
Tip: Your System Administrator can create a custom timesheet report for all staff to see in the cloud app and the desktop application. This setting is available in the System Settings for the desktop application.
Export a list your expenses entered in either the Cash or Travel Expenses features. Provide this report to the finance/accounts department to claim reimbursement of your expenses, with your receipts attached.
To run the expense report:
Click the 'Print Now' button.

The summary or calendar view is the main reporting view that loads when you select the timesheets button in top toolbar.
To open this from the timesheets tab menu > select the 'Summary' option.

Open the Year view by:
Use the Year reporting view to toggle back to previous months and year easily. This can be helpful if you need to see what was entered last year or last quarter, as easier than using the last month button many times.

Select a month to open the Summary Calendar view and review the details.

Open the Reports panels view (Timesheet summary panels) by:
Select a segment in the pie chart to see the # of hours you have entered in timesheets for that project, and the % of your total entered time which was spent working on that project.

Use the timesheet leaderboard to see how you rank against the other staff in your company for entering your timesheets on-time. Use the buttons in the top right corner to show the leaders for the last 30 days or 90 days.

How the leaderboard works
The timesheet leaderboard has been designed to check how close to the date of the timesheet that is was actually entered. In addition it is designed to make sure that the required total number of hours is being entered.
For example Jill has a timesheet entry for Monday 27th April 2015 . If she 'created' the timesheet entry on 27/04/2015 then she will get a high ranking. If she enters this timesheet the following week on the 4th May 2015 then she will get a lower score.
For each timesheet you enter a ranking score is stored in the background based on the above logic for each date. This means that the more days you enter your timesheets 'on the same date' as the date of the transaction, then you will have a higher score for the ranking.
Formula used is:
Total number of hours entered / Average day difference between the day on the timesheet and when it was entered.
Use this report to see a summary view of the timesheets that have been entered by your staff members. Staff are only listed in this report if they are set as reporting to you in the Desktop application. This is done on the Synergy staff record using the 'Reports To' field. All staff set as reporting to you will be shown in this report.
The report defaults to show the same week that you had open in the Calendar view.
Change the week shown in the report by:

Expand a staff member group using the '+' on the row to see the summary details of the entered timesheets in that week. Or if you want to see all the staff members timesheet details then click the 'Expand All' button in the top toolbar.
Once finished you can use the '-' collapse on the row, or the 'Collapse All' button in the top toolbar.

Save the week shown on screen as a PDF report using the 'Print' button. This uses the 'Weekly Timesheet Report' layout from the desktop application, and has a separate page break shown for each staff member.
