If you have purchased the Connect Module for QuickBooks (Reckon Accounts Premier) or MYOB V19 Classic, you will need to install the relevant drivers on the PC required to use it. These drivers don't need to be installed on the Server or each PC - they only need to be installed on the computer processing to your accounting system.

If for some reason an MYOB ODBC driver is not present on the PC, you can install it manually without affecting the MYOB installation.

Tip: Accounting Plus v15 and Premier 8 are no longer supported by MYOB.
It is very important you uninstall previous versions of the ODBC driver. Though if you are not upgrading MYOB you will not need to i.e. if it's a fresh install, you will not have any prior version of MYOB ODBC on your PC. So check out the table that lists the version of MYOB and which ODBC it's compatible with. Locate MYOB ODBC Version to find out more.

API Interface for AccountRight Live
There is nothing extra to install for MYOB AccountRight Live. The API interface for AccountRight Live is installed during the install process for AccountRight Live (from 2014.4 onwards). Upgrades to the API are also installed as part of the upgrade process for each MYOB AccountRight Live version.
When installing MYOB AccountRight Live server edition (SE) this is listed as a separate 'program' in the installed programs list found in control panel for the 'MYOB API'. If the API needs to be reinstalled for the server edition, the API installer can be found in the Start menu at: Programs>MYOB>AccountRight 2014.4>Tools.
For the PC edition, there is no mention of this in the installed programs list. For the PC desktop product the API is installed as part of the product and referred to as the 'Add-on Connector'.
