"Access rights for Windows 2000 / XP / Vista
If you are a network administrator who installing QuickBooks 2009/10 for other users in your company. Be aware that users of Windows 2000 or XP must have at least Standard user rights to be able to run QuickBooks 2009/10. Users who have Restricted user rights cannot write to the registry keys and will not be able to use this application.
Users of Windows Vista must have local administrator rights to install QuickBooks but can run the software with lower user rights.

Note: 64 Bit Windows is not supported for QuickBooks 2009/10. Windows Server 2008 has not been tested and is not officially supported for QuickBooks 2009/10.”
