After the upgrade has been completed on the Synergy database server, the desktop PC's in the office will need to be upgraded. The users will need to have Local Administrator rights to complete this upgrade process. The upgrade of the desktop PC's can also be completed using the Synergy MSI Installer.
Tips:
Please login to the PC using an account with Administrator rights, before beginning the Synergy upgrade process.
The setup process will download all the Synergy prerequisites automatically, if they are not installed .

Complete the following steps to complete the Synergy upgrade on the PC.

Click the image above to view the perform an upgrade pop-up message.
Click the image above to view the start of the installation wizard.
Click the image above to view the message shown if User Account Control is enabled in Windows.
Click the image above to view the completed upgrade process wizard.
Tip: If a remote PC is pending an upgrade, locate the installer and send it direct to the remote PC and install Synergy using the setup.exe - locate this by going to the Install step by step instructions.
