View a list of the personnel records that exist in Synergy linked to company or individual contact records. Use the list to create a new email, letter or fax document address to the personnel record.

Contact Personnel List displays a list of all the personnel or staff members that work at each of the company or individual contacts entered in Synergy. The personnel records are created in Synergy to store the address and phone details for the personnel. This information can be displayed in Projects and Contracts in Synergy, and shown on document and email templates created from within Synergy.
Use Personnel List to view the existing personnel records, and update the contact information for that staff member as required. New personnel records can be created, and existing records can be deleted or terminated (made inactive) as required.
Use the list view to send out emails, faxes, and letters to the personnel using the wizard, or search for an existing contact record using the 'Search' list filter.
View the details of each of the personnel that work at a company or individual contact. Create letters, emails, and faxes to send out to the personnel.
Add new personnel records and link them to contact records to include them on Projects or Contracts, and display their details on document outputs from Synergy. Create a new personnel record by:

Personnel records can be deleted if they are not already attached to an invoice or attached to a Project. To delete a personnel record:
Tip: If you cannot delete the personnel record as it has already been used on a Project, make it inactive by terminating the record. This will remove the personnel from drop down lists through out Synergy.
Terminate personnel records when the person has stopped working at the company contact. Terminated personnel records are marked as 'inactive' and will not be shown in the drop down lists when creating new records. The personnel will be shown in grey text after being terminated, and can still be found using the 'Not Active' or 'All' list filters.

Tip: Exclude terminated personnel on reports by using the filter Personnel is active = TRUE.
When people switch which company they work for, this can also be updated within Synergy on the personnel record. i.e. 'Bob Child' may have worked for ABC Constructions. He is now moving to work for XYZ Consulting. Update the Contact record that Bob is linked to within Synergy to update Bob's employment details.

Tip: If the personnel is listed as the primary contact on a Project, it is recommended that you update those projects to have new contact details after moving the personnel to work at a new company.

Send a new email message to a Personnel record using the Synergy Email Wizard. This feature allows you to use the email templates to automatically populate the email subject line and body of the message. All 'Contact' and 'Personnel' type email templates are available for use. Learn more about email templates.

The list filter is located in the top right corner of personnel list. The following filter options are available:
Tip: Make a list filter your default view by applying the list filter, then right mouse click and select 'Set this view as the default' from the menu. That list filter will now be applied every time you use this list.
Export the data from the list in either MS Excel® format or using Synergy reports. Use the Synergy report option if you want to create a PDF file with the list data, or email the list data to a Synergy staff member or contact.
