Tips:
Xero Connect Preview window is checking the data held in Synergy against what exists in Xero before the interface is run. This allows error messages to be shown in the Preview window to prompt for data to be corrected in Synergy before the sync is run to transfer the data to Xero.

Synergy Contact |
This error occurs when the contact record in Xero has been archived, and the contact record is still in use in Synergy. To transfer the invoice in Synergy, a new contact record in Xero needs to be created by Connect. This can be triggered in Synergy by changing the CARD ID that is attached to the contact to a new unique number. Complete the following steps:

If this invoice will never be sent to Xero, then skip this payment row to allow the Connect sync to complete. |

The payment type must be entered on each payment entered in Synergy before it can be sent to Xero. This is shown in the 'Reference' column on the export payments tab. When importing payments from Xero to Synergy, this error will be shown if the invoice number the payment is linked to does not exist in Synergy. This can happen if the payment is for a Xero invoice that will never be entered in Synergy. Resolve this by either entering the missing invoice into Synergy, as assigning the same invoice number within Synergy and Xero to the invoice. Or resolve this by skipping the payment row, as the invoice will never exist within Synergy. |

The error 'unable to match payment to invoice' is shown when the supplier expense (bill) payment cannot be imported into Synergy. This can occur for some payments after the upgrade to the 4.9.4 Synergy release. The reason for this is that the supplier bills previously matched on the 'invoice #' prior to the 4.9.4 upgrade. After the upgrade is completed for 4.9.4 the matching for supplier bills (and payments) is completed on 'unique id #'. for an interim period this message will be shown.
