Personnel List

Open Personnel List by selecting the menu button and choosing Personnel from the drop down.

Tip: Contact List is also in the cloud app. Click the contact button in the toolbar to see all the company contact details instead.

What is the Personnel List?

Personnel List displays a list of the people that you deal with on a professional level whether project related or not. The personnel are the people that work at a company contact record. Contact example are: clients, contractors, external consultants, builders, engineers, real estate agents, insurance companies.

Personnel example the is that there is a company is 'Jetson Travel' and the people that work there (personnel) are Judy Jetson, Jane Jetson, George Jetson, and Jane Jetson.

Why use the Personnel List?

Use personnel list to look up all the information of the people you deal with on Projects such as the phone numbers, email addresses, street address, and personnel attributes.

Actions available

ClosedSearch

Use the search field in personnel list to look for a specific existing person's name. To search:

  1. Locate the search box in the Personnel List toolbar.
  2. Type part of the Person's name into the search box.
  3. Press enter to run the search.
ClosedFilter

Use the filter tool in the Personnel list, to limit which records are displayed. To filter the list:

  1. Click the arrow next to the word 'Active', which is the default list filter.
  2. Select a filter from the list. Filters available are:
    1. My Project PersonnelClosedAny Personnel that are attached to one the Contacts that are included in your 'My Projects' List are shown. My Projects is used to create a short list of your favourite projects in Synergy. The 'My Project Personnel' is used to show you the list of the personnel that are part of the contact list on your favourite projects.
    2. AllClosedBoth active and inactive personnel are shown in the list.
    3. ActiveClosedOnly active personnel are shown in the list. These personnel can still be attached to projects, or used to be sent invoices in the future.
    4. Not ActiveClosedOnly inactive personnel are shown in the list. These personnel are not available in drop down lists any more in the Synergy Desktop Application, as making the personnel record 'inactive' stops future use of the record.
ClosedOpen a personnel record or a contact
  1. Open Personnel - Click on a personnel name in the list, to open the contact and view the details.
  2. Open Contact - Click on a contact name in the list, to open the contact and view the details.
  3. Actions Button - Or complete both of these tasks by using the actions button on the right of the row.
ClosedEmail a personnel contact

Click the email address for the personnel contact in the list, and a new email message to the person will open in your email client.

Columns available

ClosedThe following columns are displayed in the list
  1. NameClosedThe personnel name is displayed. Click on the personnel name to open that record.
  2. ContactClosedThe name of the company contact record is shown. Click on the contact name to open that record.
  3. EmailClosedThe email address for the personnel record is displayed. Click on the email in the list to send a new email to the contact using your default email client.
  4. PhoneClosedThe office phone number for the personnel is shown.
  5. MobileClosedThe mobile number entered for the personnel is shown.
