Proposal success factors

Synergy has a module called Project Forecast.  The sub project fee is spread over the next 12 months to propose potential billing patterns, timing and value.  The same process can be done against sub projects with a proposal status.

Creating success factors

  1. Click into the white area under the Success factor % column heading .
  2. Type a value for your success factor.
  3. Type a description for the success factor.
  4. Save.
ClosedExamples

0 : when a status is set to unsuccessful, the success factor is automatically set to 0.  This factor cannot be deleted.

25, 50 and 75 : default factors that can be deleted (if unused), or renamed.

100 : when a status is set to active, the success factor is automatically set to 100.  This factor cannot be deleted.

Tip: If you use MS Excel® to propose project fees, ideally Synergy project forecast will replace this.  Your project managers would generally have a "gut" feel for the probability of winning a project - this process is storing the probability in a system that can then be reported on.
