The Notices module is used to generate outbound notices for the contracting parties and store inbound notices issued by the contractor. An inbound notice (Contractors Notice) is marked as Issued by default. An outbound notice is marked as Draft by default.

Tips:
Each notice that is created will be automatically allocated a notice # upon save. Contractor's notices are inbound notices, so they have their own counting system, so you may find duplicate notice numbers occurring as a result.
Available bookmark is Notice Number.
Available when creating a Contractor's Notice (incoming) a field exists to store the actual notice # issued to you by the Contractor. In the case of NPC - Notice of Practical Completion, NPCORO - Notice of Practical Completion Owner has remained in Occupation, NPCOTP - Notice of Practical Completion Owner has taken possession and Works not at Practical Completion (WNAPC), this appears as a drop down list, allowing you to select an incoming Contractor's notice.
This is available only on the NPC, NPCOCO, NPCOTP and WNAPC document templates as Number of Contractors Notice.
Select a date from the calendar.
Available bookmark is Notice Issued date [system date setting], Notice Issued long date [Monday, April 5 2012] or Notice Issued date d mmm yyyy [5 Apr 2012].
Free form text field used to enter notes for future reference, and which can be configured to appear on documents. You can copy and paste from another document using short cut keys > highlight the text then press CTRL+C to copy and then CTRL+V to paste into the Notice field.
Available bookmark is Notice Note.
Difference status' can be applied to each Notice, to allow you to make changes before a notice is finalised or to cancel one if it's been issued by mistake.
Reason's for the Contractor notice appear in a list that can be selected.
Any type of document, file or link can be attached to the contract.
Not all notices can be generated throughout the different stages of a contract. Listed below is each type of notice, the template type name and the applicable status the contract should be in order to generate it.

There's a number of notices of practical completion available for use, all require the contract status to be Practical Completion and are created in the same manner.
