Contract Insurance Types

Setup standard insurance types to specify against a contract.

System Administrator

Contract Admin > Contract Default Data > Contract Instruction Types

Tip: Not seeing the Contract Administration module? Contact Total Synergy Support to request this to be added to your Synergy licence.

New Insurance Type

ClosedComplete the following steps:
  1. Click into the white area under the description column heading.
  2. Type a description for the Insurance Type.
  3. Enter further details in the Details column.
  4. Save.

Active or Not Active

If a contract insurance type has been used in one or more contracts, it cannot be deleted from the list.  To prevent it being used in future contracts, deactivate the insurance type by un-checking the Active box and Save.
