Maps List

1. Click the 'On map' button. This button can be found under the address in the Project > General tab, or the Contact > Address tab.
   
2. The address stored in Synergy will then be shown in Google maps in a new web browser.

1. Open the Contact, and click on the Address tab.
2. Open the Project, and click on the General tab.

1. Use the expanding toolbar button to open Maps List.
2. Click on the New Map button to add a new map.
3. In the 'Create Map' screen enter a Map title to be shown in Maps List.
4. Enter a description of the new Map.
5. Ensure that the 'Active' check box is selected.
6. Click Save.
7. The 'Map Locations' list is now shown.
8. Click the Add button to add a new location to your map.
9. The 'Add Location' window is shown. Enter a Title for the location. This will be shown on the map as you hover over the location pointer.
10. Enter a Description of the location. This will be shown on the map as you hover over the location pointer.
11. Type the address to be located in Google Maps. This is the place that the location pointer will be shown on the map.
12. Select the Location Type from the drop down list.
13. Click Save.
14. Click Add button to add another new location. Repeat the steps to add extra locations to the map.
15. Once you have added all the required locations, click on the 'Map' menu item next to locations to load the Map.
16. Click the grid button in the Maps toolbar to return to Maps List when you have finished viewing the locations in Google Maps.

1. In Maps List locate the map that you want to share with your entire company.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Check the 'Public' checkbox.
4. Click Save .
5. The map will now be available to all users of your Synergy Cloud Services database.

1. In Maps List locate the map that you want to make inactive.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Uncheck the 'Active' checkbox.
4. Click Save .
5. The map is now 'Inactive'.

1. Locate the Map in Maps List, and select Open.
2. Click on the Locations tab.
3. In the list locate the location you want to amend. Click the expanding menu button , and then select Edit .
4. Update the location details in the Edit Location window.
5. Click Save .
6. The new location will now be shown the next time you open the map.

1. Locate the Map in Maps List, and select Open.
2. Click on the Locations tab.
3. In the list locate the location you want to amend. Click the expanding menu button , and then select Delete .
4. The location will not be shown the next time you open the map.

Select the Back to list button in the maps toolbar on the right side, and you will return to Map List.

Click the expanding menu button and then click the Edit button to update the Map Details. This is located on the right side of the row in Locations list.

Click the Reset all location lookups button in the maps toolbar, to remove all the saved maps location and lookup failures. The map will be re-loaded when you return to the Maps tab to view all the locations again.

After opening Maps List several Filter options are available:

1. My MapsThis will display only Maps that you have created.
2. SharedThis will display Maps that have been shared with your entire company. 
3. ActiveDisplays Maps that are still available for use. 
4. InactiveDisplays Map records that are no longer available for use. 
5. All Displays both Active and Inactive Map records.
