U.S date settings

Problem

When generating documents in MS Word®, the dates appear in a U.S format e.g. 06/27/2018.

Reason for Problem

Your PC is set to United States Regional Settings.

Solution

The following steps are based on a Windows 7 operating system:

1. Open Control Panel. Open Region and Language (or Regional Settings).  
2. Check the following 3 areas are set to Australia/English:
• Formats tab - Format = English (Australia).
• Location tab - Current location = Australia.
• Administrative tab - Change system locale...= English (Australia).
