Learn how to use the Security Tab within System Settings, to control which data the staff have access to within grid views, multi office environments, and when Project Teams is enabled.
Checking this option will allow each user to then change a setting on their login screen - Auto Login.
This is a great feature - however beware! Your Synergy database contains highly sensitive information. Please use with caution.
A general rule I would say, is inform all users with the security access levels Director, Administrator and System Administrator not to check the Auto Login option. To get a list of users and their level of access go to Administration toolsPractice > Staff & Application Security > click the heading Access level.
Choose if all staff will be able to add optional columns to all the grid or list views in Synergy. To allow staff to view optional columns check the 'Allow users to view optional columns on grids' box in the Application Restrictions section.
The settings here are relevant only if you have a valid license for Multi offices, this is also only available within the Synergy Enterprise product.

Settings exist to restrict Project managers (and below), Director or System Administrator to have access to projects within an office that has been attached to their staff record. If a staff member has 2 offices attached, then they will see projects for the 2 offices.
Another setting here also is restrict each office to use templates only for the office the project is associated with. This way when creating correspondence only templates for the users office will appear.

This is great if you've attached a project team and you only won't those team members to access the project. This is across the board, so you may want to only restrict a particular project, and this can be done with the actual project.
This feature is if you've created projects already and have not attached a project team as yet. Click the button here and the system will automatically attach the project manager to the project team. This action cannot be undone.
