Contact Classifications

A Classification is used to nominate the role/s of your external Contact team against the Project. A Classification can then also be attached to contacts that will provide the ability to filter out a list of contacts with a particular Classification.

Getting Started

Who can use it?	Where is it?
Administrator System Administrator	Default Data > Classifications

Tips:

Classifications are also used as the description when adding Expenses (Invoices/Bills).
A contact can have more than one Classification assigned to, providing the ability to assign them as different roles on different Projects.

Create a Classification

Click into the white area under the description column heading.
Type a description for the Classification.
Save.

Tip: The important thing here is what you want the role to be within the project - role = Classification
