Search Synergy

Uncheck any of the search options to exclude them from the result. The system will remember the search settings, and use the same settings again next time.

In Search Results list, Double click to open an item.

The following areas area searched the entered keyword.  If all search areas are selected, then we are searching for the keyword in the multiple areas of the Synergy database. The search is reviewing all the data within the General tab of the following areas in the database:

For a more detailed search, go to the area required.  For example within the My Synergy module, if you go to My Synergy Menu > Notes, then use the find box in the Notes toolbar to search within that module. This is available in other modules and is outlined further in the quick search option.

1. Open Contacts List.
2. Type a keyword into the quick search field in the Contacts toolbar. i.e. Type '8875' to search for part of a phone number.
3. Press enter to run the search.

4. The contacts and personnel with this number in their record are displayed.

The quick search is being used to lookup a phone number within all Synergy contacts.

Extend upon the Quick Search by using the Advanced Search to search for a phone number entered against a contact.

1. Open Contacts List.
2. Select the filter for Contacts List and choose 'Search...'.
3. Click the Advanced button.
4. Type the number into the 'Phone' field.
5. Press enter to run the search.
6. All contacts that have the phone number will be shown in the list.
