View the Total Synergy help files in your web browser, to view a range of topics on each of the Synergy features. Each topic contains links to other areas in the help files that relate to the topic you are currently viewing. You can also use the table of contents, or search the help files to look up a topic on a specific feature.
Read step by step guides on how to use each Synergy feature. Use the search function to look for topics about that specific keyword or subject.
Click the Print icon in the toolbar to print the topics shown. The open topic shown on screen will print. All headings will be print in black or grey tones which are more printer friendly colours.
Tip: Use the Expand All icon before pressing print. This will make sure that all the topic content will be displayed in the printed content.
Within each topic, text is grouped using the Expand/Collapse icons. When you click those icons within the topic it expands just that one group of text. When you click this icon in the toolbar all the text will be expanded to be displayed on screen.

Within an open topic click this icon. The previous topic within that group in the Table of Contents will open. This option will only work when viewing a topic (not when viewing a menu page).

Click the 'Remove search highlights' button in the toolbar to stop the colouring from being shown on the keywords in the topic.
Highlight colours are shown when you search the Synergy help files. After opening a topic shown from the search results list, each keyword is highlighted with a different colour within the open help topic. Use the highlight colours to easily find the keywords you are searching for in the open help topic.
Click this icon to switch back to the home menu, which loads when the help files first opens.

The help files are stored in Microsoft Windows Azure (Synergy Cloud Services). The help files will automatically launch in the default web browser on your computer when you press F1 on the keyboard, when the Synergy desktop application is open.
If the computer where Synergy is installed is able to access the internet, then there is no need to install the help files locally on a users computer. The help files are displayed in HTML5 format, and supported for use in most major web browsers such as: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.
