Using Synergy Help

Open the help files by pressing F1 on your keyboard when the Synergy Application is open. The help files will open in the default web browser on your computer.

What are the help files?

View the Total Synergy help files in your web browser, to view a range of topics on each of the Synergy features. Each topic contains links to other areas in the help files that relate to the topic you are currently viewing. You can also use the table of contents, or search the help files to look up a topic on a specific feature.

Why use the help files?

Read step by step guides on how to use each Synergy feature. Use the search function to look for topics about that specific keyword or subject.

Help file technical information

The help files are stored in Microsoft Windows Azure (Synergy Cloud Services). The help files will automatically launch in the default web browser on your computer when you press F1 on the keyboard, when the Synergy desktop application is open.

If the computer where Synergy is installed is able to access the internet, then there is no need to install the help files locally on a users computer. The help files are displayed in HTML5 format, and supported for use in most major web browsers such as: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.
