Outbound RFI (Request for Information)

An outbound RFI is used to generate a request for information intended to be issued to one of the parties of the contract.  Each outbound RFI which is created has an automatically generated number.  Outbound RFI's may also be used as responses to inbound RFI's.

Responding to inbound RFI's

Status change: Draft to pending response

  1. Select the draft outbound RFI you wish to issue.
  2. Click mark as issued .
  3. Click YES to confirm.

Status change: Pending response to responded

  1. Double click the outbound RFI you wish to mark as responded.
  2. Click on the status drop down list.
  3. Select Responded.
  4. Select a response date.
  5. Enter the response in the field provided.
  6. Save and Close.
