An inbound RFI is used to maintain a request for information which has been received from one of the parties of the contract. Each inbound RFI which is created has an automatically generated number, and also a provision which allows you to specify the reference number of the RFI as provided by the party who issued it.

Tips:
Inbound RFI’s can be responded to using an outbound RFI or a Contract Instruction.
This is the default status assigned to an inbound RFI when it is first created.
This status is assigned to an inbound RFI once it has been responded to either through an outbound RFI or a contract instruction.
